BUERGER DISEASE (Obliterans Thromboangiitis)

Of several articles on Buerger's Disease I have ever read, all on a scientific language that I think will be difficult to be understood by a layman. Therefore I tried to simplify the language of these articles to article hopefully language understandable by a layman.

Buerger's Disease is the name for a disease that is more or less the picture is a condition where there is acute inflammation caused by thrombosis (clotting) of arteries and veins resulting in less blood flow smoothly.


common symptoms of Buerger's Disease is;
       - Pain in various conditions. 
         For example: pain at rest, pain at the time of the position of the hands or feet in
          a state dependent and at the walk. even at a certain level can occur normally even cramps.
    - The skin on the tip of fingers or toes become pale white look, and feel cold. Usually the normal circulation of people who will feel the cold in your hand when he shook hands with you.

        -  At the acute level; the fingertips or toes are usually reddish and finally becomes blackish



In the end, at the fingertips of hands or feet will be the injury / wounds and then could have an infection.

So far, treatment options for patients with Buerger's diseases is extra special as well as treatment for existing wound or choose willing to be amputated, and of course stop the consumption of tobacco
it might be worthwhile if the existing government warning on every pack of cigarettes plus the photos that the fingertips or toes are affected by Buerger's Disease.
